City's Mancini interested in Boateng

04/16/2010 - Manchester, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini has admitted Hamburg youngster Jerome Boateng has impressed him and he may make a move for the defender in the summer.

The 21-year-old has already told his club's officials that he wants a move away from the Bundesliga in the summer and with a reported 11million buy-out clause in his contract, it is a small price for the big-spending Citizens to pay.

He has already won his way into Joachim Low's Germany national side and he is tipped to make the World Cup Finals squad in the summer.

With Boateng making his intentions clear, Mancini has now declared he is a fan of the center back ahead of City's derby clash with Manchester United on Saturday.

Speaking to reporters, Mancini said: "He is only young but he is a good player.

"We have followed him, like we have followed a lot of players but I don't think we will decide what to do until after this season is over."

If there is any category that is not an obvious win for any one nominee in this year's Academy Awards, it would be for Best Picture.  Sure the Departed is a 5/7 favorite, but that's hardly anything when we look at Helen Mirren and her "out-of-reach" 1 to 40 odds (which means you would win a whopping $1 for every $40 bet).

Who is to say independently produced Little Miss Sunshine won't be this year's Crash.  Last year, Crash won for Best Motion Picture, shocking those who bet on gay cowboy flick, Brokeback Mountain, as the favorite to win.
